Rules and Regulations

 

SITE OCCUPANCY

  • Only one RV is allowed per site
  • Maximum two vehicles are allowed per site.
  • Washing vehicles on sites are not permitted due to environmental regulations.
  • Repairs of Vehicles and are not permitted in the park. You may check with the local listings for businesses that provide these services.
  • Sewer connections are required and must have a tight seal by a sewer donut (or sewer ring) or a screw-type connector.
  • No boats, over-sized vehicles or open trailers may be parked on the site.
  • Storage of any uninsured vehicles, campers or trailers on site is prohibited.
  • Site must be kept tidy at all times. Items stored outside the unit must be placed under the unit. Additions to the site such as decks or steps must be pre-approved by management.
  • Water lines should be protected in winter months (charges applied for any damages).
  • Be sure to close awnings when leaving your RV unattended. Strong winds can come about suddenly and cause severe damage.
  • Clotheslines are not permitted.

 

PARKING

  • Please be aware that we have designated “Visitor Parking” areas, parking is not permitted on vacant premises or landscaped areas.
  • All vehicles must be parked on your site and no part of your vehicle should be on the road.

 

QUIET HOURS

  • From 10:00 P.M. to 7:30 A.M. as a courtesy to all guests, this is the quiet time at Ocean Winds RV park. Please be considerate towards others and refrain from any loud music, noisy vehicles, generators.

 

PETS

  • At Ocean Winds RV we love your well-behaved pets and to ensure the enjoyment of all our guests we ask you to abide by these rules.
  • All dogs must be on a leash (no longer than 10 feet) and under the control of the owner at all times while in the Ocean Winds RV Park.
  • At no time should a pet be left unattended outdoors.
  • Please pick up after your pets and dispose of the waste properly.
  • Aggressive/excessively noisy dogs will NOT be tolerated (you will be asked to have the pet leave the Park immediately).
  • All pet waste is to be cleaned up immediately.

 

MISCELLANEOUS

  • Guests are responsible for the conduct of their visitors while at Ocean Winds R.V. Park property.
  • Ocean Winds reserves the right to approve any RV over 15 years of age.
  • Ocean Winds R.V. Park accepts no liability for your unit. You are responsible for your insurance.
  • Please consult the office for guidelines regarding sheds, decks and skirting.
  • Tenants found in violation of Ocean Winds R.V. Park’s terms and conditions will be subject to immediate eviction. Deposit will be refunded after the electric meter has been read, all decks and steps removed, and site checked by management for cleanliness.
  • Cleanliness of the park is important to us. Sites are to be kept clean and orderly, as determined by management. Please leave restrooms and laundry as you would like to find them. If they are in need of attention, please notify someone in the office.
  • Park speed limit is 10 km/h. Please observe our speed limit to ensure the safety of all our guests.
  • Please respect the privacy of fellow guests – Do NOT walk through occupied sites.
  • In order to ensure safety after dark, please carry a flashlight. No bike or scooter riding after dark.
  • Only gas grills are allowed in the park. Wood or charcoal grills are NOT allowed.
  • The Park supplies 50 amp service. If the receptacle is overheated by your usage, causing damage to the plug and the Park’s plug-in, a $50 charge will be applied to replace it.
  • Guests are not allowed to sublet rent/lease their unit for safety reasons and must advise the office in writing when their site and/or unit are unoccupied.
  • Garbage and recycling is available in the designated area in the Southwest corner of Phase 1. Tenants are asked to keep this area clean and please do not play any items outside of the designated bins.
